Lies Of P Outfits Guide

Fashion is an incredibly important part of any soulslike. And it’s hard to pinpoint exactly why that’s the case. But all I know is that the mark of a good game in this genre is shown in whether or not you get to wear silly and cool costumes. Luckily Lies of P understands this and does feature multiple outfits. But the way you get these are a little different from how you would normally get them in other Soulslikes. So, here’s how you can find new outfits in Lies of P.

Lies of P: How to find new outfits

In most soulslikes, the fashion comes from the armor you wear. Usually, this armor has the downside of doing useful things like increasing your defense. This means that in order to play optimally in Dark Souls, you can’t really wear the pretty dress. Lies of P does something positive here and removes armor entirely. Outfits are completely cosmetic and have no bearing on your stats whatsoever.

Now, as far as finding these outfits in Lies of P goes, that’s a little trickier. For the most part, outfits are rewarded to you whenever you slay a human character. A good example of this is the Mad Donkey boss fight. After you defeat Mad Donkey, you’ll get to wear his outfit and use his donkey mask as an accessory. Later on in Venigni Works you can find another human enemy simply called Survivor. And killing him will reward you with the Survivors Hunting Apparel.

Killing humans isn’t the only way to get new outfits though. Talking to some NPCs like Antonia at Hotel Krat will reward you with an outfit as well. But you’ll definitely find more outfits from fighting human minibosses. Be sure to scour each level in Lies of P to find as many outfits as you can. Just like any other soulslike, Lies of P has plenty of secrets for you to discover. And you’re going to have to work pretty hard sometimes to uncover all there is to find.
