Oculus has sold over 100,000 VR headsets

Almost two years ago, Oculus begun its Kickstarter campaign and has now sold over 100,000 headsets.

In April it was announced that they had sold about 60,000 first-generation Development Kit 1 units and today it was announced that over 45,000 Development Kit 2 units have been bought.

The Oculus has managed to attract many notable employee’s such as the former Valve VR engineer, Atman Binstock, the former Halo 4 Senior Art director Kenneth Scott, and even Naughty Dog’s co-founder, Jason Rubin. The company was also bought by Facebook for a whopping $2 billion.
