The first patch for Infamous: Second Son has been announced and is due to be released today on April 17th.
The patch isn’t being released to fix any bugs or glitches in Infamous but rather to add new features to players who have beat the game. After the patch is installed you will be able to disable the HUD and change the night and day cycle.
There will also be an option to cap the frame rate at 30FPS. “This is a frame rate cap — not a lock,” said Playstation Blog. “It won’t eliminate the rare instance of a dropped frame during gameplay.”
The patch will also include a Photo Mode which will allow you to use several different tools to take some awesome shots of Delsin in action. “We were totally amazed at the quality of the screenshots you all shared. Amazed. So we thought we’d try to help you all out,” said the blog.
