Resident Evil 4 Separate Ways: All Courtyard Blue Medallions

A puzzling request.

Remember those dangling Blue Medallions from Resident Evil 4 remake? Well, they’re back in the Separate Ways DLC. This time, you’re playing as Ada, going through her side of the story. There are two requests in Resident Evil 4 Separate Ways that require you to search for Blue Medallions, this one being the Courtyard, so let’s go over where they all are.

While there were only four Cliff Blue Medallions, the Courtyard holds five of them. This is in Chapter 4 at the castle. As a reward, you’ll receive seven Spinels, so you shouldn’t ignore this request. Let’s dive right into where you can find all the Courtyard Blue Medallions in Resident Evil 4 Separate Ways.

The first one you can find is right as you enter the Courtyard. If you walk through the entrance and keep heading straight, you should see a staircase with a Blue Medallion hanging at the top. The second one is incredibly easy to find as well, as you just have to turn right behind you and look up. There, you’ll find a medal hanging above a stone walkway.

Now, press the ‘Shift’ key to grapple up to this walkway, and turn left. Walk down those stairs, head left, and then look left again. Inside a metal cage is the third Blue Medallion. This fourth one is near the back of the maze, so turn around and head through. You may want to grapple over the hedges if it’s easier.

Once you make it to the far back corner, you should see a tower with a ladder. You don’t even need to climb up to hit the Blue Medallion, you should be able to see it from the ground. Finally, face away from the ladder and head through the tunnel. Once you make it to the other side, look up, and you should see the final Blue Medallion hanging above the grates. In my photo, I found it after I’d climbed a set of stairs, but you can still see it from the ground.
