Free Epic Games Store Solitairica December Web

If you’ve been paying attention to the Epic Games Store this week, you’ll know by now that it’s giving away a new free game every 24 hours until we hit the new year. Today is the thirteenth day of the “15 days of free games in December” event or whatever Epic calls it. Today’s free offering is Solitairica, so claim it now before you forget.

Solitairica is definitely a unique game, as it blends the classic card game with monsters and magic. Anyone that remembers the good old days of true PC gaming will surely remember Solitaire. It introduced the thrills of flipping cards in one of the most intense solo experiences of the time. This game takes that classic formula and expands upon it with additional options like spell casting, RPG elements, and roguelike progression.

The story in Solitairica certainly sounds like a nice way to bring the classic game to new audiences. It features all kinds of spells, cool monster art, and some helpless people you need to save from a tyrant. Even as someone who’s not typically into card games, the added flair certainly makes me want to give this one a go. Considering the fact that it’s free means you might as well too. Check out the trailer below to get an idea of what’s in store.

The Epic Games Store has more than just these free games to enjoy this December

Be sure to claim Solitairica on the Epic Games Store before 11 AM ET on December 30, because like we said, the free games will only be available for 24 hours each. If you do have a little cash to spend and you’re thinking of picking up something for the holidays this year, also check out the Epic Games Store Holiday Sale, where there’s over 200 popular titles of various flavors. You can also grab $10 USD coupons, rendering some of those games almost free.
