Starfield Musgrove Choice

During the All That Money Can Buy mission you will go to Neon City with Walter to collect a new Artifact. However, you will find out that the artifact was stolen by the seller, Musgrove. After purchasing it, we will experience the backlash of his actions. That means, shooting and healing all the way. Eventually, you will face Nicolaus Slayton, the original owner of the Artifact. If you make a deal with him, you will get to decide Musgrove’s fate:

  • Set Musgrove free: While this can be one noble action on your behalf, there is a possibility that your companions will not like the lack of accountability, especially Andreja.
  • Jail Musgrove: The middle ground between setting Musgrove free and killing him. This will spare Musgrove’s life, but will also make him pay for his trespasses, although it may sound hypocritical after everything done during the mission. It is the most neutral choice and your companions will react positively.
  • Kill Musgrove: You will straight up kill Musgrove while he is already down. This choice is extreme and your companions will react negatively, even in complete disgust. However, you get to loot Musgrove’s body after killed.

If you wish to continue crafting a good relationship with your companions, then jailing Musgrove is the best choice you can make in Starfield. However, if you are playing the game as the ultimate villain and you want the maximum profit, kill Musgrove. You will be able to loot Musgrove’s body and receive Walter’s reward for completing the mission. Basically, pìck anything besides setting Musgrove free, although this option will be liked by most of your companions.
