Valve has confirmed that a Steam Summer Sale will be happening this year, only they won’t tell us when.

A post on the Steam forum from Valve software engineer Mike Blaszczak confirms that plans are being made:

“We are planning a sale something this summer. Hope that helps!” reads his post.

The post follows loud calls from Steam users for Valve to host another Summer Sale, and for it to kick off soon.

If it’s anything like previous years, expect daily deals on some of the distribution service’s bigger games of up to 75 per cent off.
