In the Sticks and Stones game mode, there are no teams and everyone has to fend for themselves. Each player will spawn in with the same weapon loadout. This includes a R1 Shadowhunter Crossbow, the Ballistic Knife, and the Tomahawk. The objective of the game is not to get the most kills. Instead, you are aiming to get the highest score out of everyone in the lobby. If you earn a kill with the R1 Shadowhunter Crossbow or Ballistic Knife you will score points. Additionally, if you manage to get a Tomahawk kill, you will also bankrupt that opposing player. This will reset their score back to zero. Also, everyone will be revealed on the mini map by the Spy Plane and the leading player will be marked with a gold dot.

Tips to get the win in Black Ops Cold War Sticks and Stones

It is important to note that if you miss a shot with the Ballistic Knife or Tomahawk, you can go and pick them up. This will ensure that you do not run out of these limited resources. You’ll also need to make sure you use your weapons wisely. Usually, the R1 Shadowhunter Crossbow will come in handy when taking shots at range, whereas the other weapons are better for close-quarter encounters. Leading your shots in the motion that the enemy is moving will increase your likelihood of getting the kill. Finally, as the Spy Plane will reveal your position, always stay on the move, especially if you are marked as the top player.

There is no doubt that the addition of Sticks and Stones in Black Ops Cold War will be welcomed by longtime Black Ops fans. It will be interesting to see what other game modes the developers have in the works.
