Strange Call of Duty: Vanguard bug is flipping player’s screens

Something went wrong.

Since the launch of Call of Duty: Vanguard, players have been greeted with more than enough bugs and glitches. Back in January, Activision released a statement promising to improve the state of their most recent Call of Duty titles. Apart from Vanguard, this also includes Warzone Pacific, Black Ops Cold War, and Modern Warfare 2019. Although efforts have been made to eliminate bugs and improve stability, there is still a lot of work to be done across each of the targeted titles. Now, a strange bug is appearing in Vanguard which is flipping the screens of players who are unlucky enough to fall victim to it.

A player posted a clip of the bug in full force on the Call of Duty: Vanguard subreddit. As you can see, they are playing the new Arms Race game mode and everything seems to be going as planned. Then, the player walks over to a vehicle which explodes into flames. Normally, we would expect this to kill a player and send them back to their spawn. Instead, they were left surprised when a bug caused their screen to flip. It is definitely a bizarre bug which does not seem to disappear on its own.

It is flipping annoying

Notably, this is not the first time players have experienced this in Call of Duty. It has been seen in Black Ops Cold War zombies Outbreak mode. The fact that the flipped screen bug has sneaked its way into Vanguard multiplayer is not good news for players.

Sledgehammer Games has not yet provided a response to this bug. However, fans commenting on the Reddit post claim that entering and exiting a vehicle is a workaround for fixing the bug. If that does not work, you may have to leave the game. If you want to keep up with the bugs and glitches the developers are working on, visit the Vanguard Trello Board.
