Warzone Model 680 Shotgun

Shotguns are the latest weapons taking over Verdansk. The R9-0 shotgun is a popular choice among Call of Duty: Warzone players. However, there are other viable options to use, including the Warzone Model 680 shotgun. This weapon is a 12-gauge pump-action shotgun. The base version already has a high damage rate which is a useful tool to have in Verdansk. By equipping the correct attachments though, you will be able to get up close and personal in firefights with confidence.

Blast and dash

To begin, the XRX 14.0” barrel offers a variety of benefits to the Warzone Model 680 shotgun. First off, it increases the aim down sight and movement speeds. These are both of course useful perks when using a close range weapon such as the Model 680. Moreover, this barrel allows for a wider bullet spread. Next, no stock is an important attachment to allow you to run and gun as it prioritizes mobility and movement speed. By pairing this with the 5mW laser, it will increase your hip fire accuracy and sprint to fire speed.

In addition, a foregrip is another must-have attachment. The mercenary foregrip provides the shotgun with recoil control and a further increase to the aim down sight speed. Alternately, you may prefer the commando foregrip for some added recoil stabilization and aiming stability. To complete your class, equip the dragon’s breath ammunition. If you do not already have this attachment unlocked, you will need to complete a challenge to access them. It’s worth it though, because the dragon’s breath rounds deal a lot of damage and have a lasting burning effect for damage over time.

Depending on your play style, you can pair the Call of Duty: Warzone Model 680 shotgun with an assault rifle, or a light machine gun. It will be interesting to see how the meta in Verdansk continues to change in the lead-up to the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. It’s possible that Infinity Ward may roll out another weapons tuning patch.
