Just a few months after its release, The Surge 2 has received its first DLC. The DLC, titled the Public Enemy Weapon Pack, adds 13 new weapons across eight different weapon types to the action-RPG. For players, that means you now have more ways than ever to rip your foes apart and perform brutal executions. I could have just said ‘fight your enemies’, but that wouldn’t accurately describe the visceral combat system of The Surge 2.

    You keep what you kill

You won’t just get the weapons when you purchase The Surge 2 Public Enemy Weapon Pack DLC. They will be added to enemies in the most inhospitable parts of Jericho City. Players will need to delve into these areas to find the one-time citizens who wield the new weapons and, as with all upgrades, take them from the corpses of those you slay.

Here is the full list of new weapons The Public Enemy Weapon Pack includes:

    • The “Codename: Engelhart” Single Rig weapon
    • The “MG Jackknife” Single Rig weapon
    • The “Foremen’s Divine Hands” Twin Rig weapon
    • The “Wave of Tomorrow” Spear
    • The “Codename: Carmina” Spear
    • The “Severed Rotor Blade” Hammer
    • The “Codename: Parsifal v2.0” Hammer
    • The “Portable Omni-Assembler” Heavy Duty weapon
    • The “Kate 2.0” Staff
    • The “MG Ignis” Staff
    • The “Strongarm Twinblade” Sword
    • The “MG Centurion” Sword
    • The “Codename: Zarathrustra” Punching Gloves
