Bruwor’s army consists of 3x Dryads, 2x Eternal Guard (Shields), 3x Deepwood Scouts, 2x Great Eagles, 2x Tree Kin, 1x Treeman. Reinforcements include 1x Ancient Treeman, 1x Branchwraith, 2x Wild Riders, 2x Hawk Riders, 1x Sisters of the Thorn.

Bruwor is yet another fairly simple battle for Imrik and it’s all thanks to the dragon’s lousy AI and the terrain. First off, you’re fighting in swamplands and your army’s deployment zone is all the way at the back. This allows you to corner camp and deploy in a checkerboard formation with ease.

There’s quite a unique mechanic in play in this Total War: Warhammer II Dragon Encounter for Prince Imrik. It’s that enemies will continue to replenish their hitpoints as long as Bruwor is alive. The good news is that the dragon, alone, will beeline straight for your troops, all while the rest of its army tries to catch up by trudging through the swamps. As long as you’re corner camping, it’s going to take a few minutes before Bruwor’s pals manage to reach your lines.

You can simply focus fire on the poor creature until it’s downed — no more regen buff for hostiles:

Next, once the rest of the Wood Elf units arrive, remind them that trees are very much flammable:

Several minutes later, the reinforcing army would make its way through the forests to attack your left flank:

Although victory is close at hand, you still need to watch out for those missile units who probably have higher ranged stats compared to the ones you’re fielding. Just keep immolating everyone around you until the Wood Elf forces are shattered.

Things are about to heat up. No, wait, they’re about to cool down if you decide to battle Lamoreaux the Frozen Breath.
