In Lords of the Fallen, there are a good handful of stats that you’ll need to level up to get stronger in your desired build. Each stat upgrade improves your character in different ways. You may be curious about the Inferno stat, and what it does for you. This stat does a little more than simply improve your character, for lore purposes, this could be rather useful.

What is the Inferno stat in Lords of the Fallen?

The Inferno stat is one of the main stats that define your character and your build. It allows you to equip certain items, especially those of a fiery or magical orientation. This stat represents your ability to handle fire magic and is generally associated with those who follow Adyr. Not that you necessarily have to align with Adyr to tap into this stat.

You can improve this stat when you level up at a Vestige. Like all level-ups, all of your resistances will increase a little. But you’ll notice that upgrading the Inferno stat also increases your mana. This is because this stat is mostly used for builds using Inferno or Umbral magic.

All uses for the Inferno stat in Lords of the Fallen

Upgrading the Inferno stat will allow you to equip better Inferno Catalysts, use better Inferno and Umbral spells, and equip better items that do fire damage. Having a strong Inferno build means having access to powerful fire spells and weapons. But be careful, as an opponent with great fire resistance may prove a challenge for you.

Like with any stat upgrade, your defenses and certain resistances will increase, although it will improve your fire defense more than other stats.

Also, many item descriptions may be locked behind your Inferno stat. You’ll notice that certain items have a line or two of description, but won’t allow you to read on unless you improve your Inferno. It is not recommended to level up your Inferno stat purely to read this extra lore, but those who are well-versed in the destructive school of magic will get extra insight into this damning skill.

I hope this has cleared up all confusion surrounding the Inferno stat in Lords of the Fallen. For more help, make your way to PC Invasion.
