What new weapons are in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty?

V has some new tools to mess with.

It goes without saying that the Phantom Liberty DLC for Cyberpunk 2077 brings a wealth of new features on top of everything included in the base game. One of those features, unsurprisingly, exists in the form of brand-new weapons to further help you survive in the harsh streets of Night City. But what exactly are all of the new weapons added in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty?

All new weapons in Phantom Liberty

In total, Phantom Liberty incorporates seven new weapons to play around with. You can have a look at a full list of these weapons, as well as basic descriptions of what they’re all about, below.

  • Grit – A small pistol boasting an extended magazine, the Grit notably comes with an “illegal” classification, courtesy of authorities. This indicates that the pistol packs considerably more power than your average weapon.
  • Order – A double-barrelled shotgun embellished with bulky attachments, barbed wire, and a rad-looking skull decal. Classified as “illegal” much like the Grit, so don’t expect your foes to withstand much of its firepower.
  • Warden – Another illegal weapon, this submachine gun comes with a battery pack-like modification and a bright yellow color palette. I have seen some suggest that it could serve as a Tech weapon, meaning it might let players enhance the penetration of their shots by charging them.
  • Osprey – A sniper rifle that, unsurprisingly, works best when used from a long range. It sports a long barrel and a large magazine that, presumably, aid greatly in its effectiveness.
  • Rasetsu – Another sniper rifle weapon, the Rasetsu certainly appears a lot bulkier than the Osprey. This implies that the Rasetsu will prove much more effective at piercing armored foes and generally dealing heavy damage.
  • Thermal Katana – Arguably the coolest-looking weapon added to Phantom Liberty, especially if you favor melee combat. Expect to slice through armored enemies easily with its superheated blade.
  • Hercules – This chunky firearm stands out as the only one of the new weapons to sport a “special” classification. Not much information exists regarding what it can do, at least so far, but judging by the hazard symbols featured in its design, its firepower likely won’t disappoint.

This selection of weapons appears to cover a decent variety of niches, so players experiencing Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will probably find at least one favorite. Hopefully, these weapons will help players greatly as they try and reach Phantom Liberty’s conclusion.
