The first and subsequently last LEGO Fortnite update to release happened in December of 2023, with tweaks and fixes being made to multiple systems and features. Furthermore, players have expressed their desires to see things like steering wheels — and even a teleportation system — in the game at some point.

But as of now, fans of LEGO Fortnite will have to wait a bit more into the new year for things like that to be added. These update ideas are coupled with players’ frustrations of seeing features in official screenshots that are currently not available in-game.

As of now, it seems that there is no confirmed release date for the next LEGO Fortnite update. The devs have come out and stated they plan to push out new updates starting in early 2024. However, this has not stopped people from scouring the game’s files searching for what the next big update contains. And thanks to popular journalist and leaker Happy Power, we have a sneak peek at the new additions making their way to LEGO Fortnite.

All new things coming to Lego Fortnite

I should preface these leaks by letting y’all know that the timeframe of when these updates will release is currently unknown. On top of that, we aren’t even really sure if these features will all be added at the same time, or if we will see them added across 2024.

But from these leaks, we can see that the developers have thought about things such as traversal. The leaker reports news of ziplines, catapults, compasses, and more coming to LEGO Fortnite. There are even potential new enemies, such as the beetle, and a whole new way of using food in the form of food potions.

Akin to games like Minecraft, these potions will grant the user added benefits on top of reducing hunger like increasing damage or jump height. If you haven’t given LEGO Fortnite a chance, now’s your time to get into it, that way when new updates come out hopefully soon, you’ll be ready and raring for new content.
