How to find Akila City

Starfield boasts tons of star systems, but that makes it very easy to get lost and not remember where specific places are located. In our case, we’re trying to find Akila City.

Akila City is located in the Cheyenne solar system. Cheyenne is found in the center-left side of the galaxy starmap. It is northeast of Alpha Centauri, which is where New Atlantis is.

Akila City is located on the planet Akila, which is the second planet away from the sun. Akila has three moons, but Akila City itself is located on Akila.

I’m not sure if this was intentional or not, but here’s the best way I remember where Akila City is: I remember that Cheyenne is the capital of Wyoming. And to me, Wyoming is a state filled with cowboys and cowgirls, ranches, and a general vibe of wild westin’. That is the exact vibe of Akila City, which helps me remember that Akila City is located in the Cheyenne solar system.

How to get a home in Akila City

There are two buildings of residency for you to buy in Akila City: The Stretch Apartment, or the much nicer Core Manor. Both are for sale by the same man, Ngodup Tate. You will first find Tate outside the Core Manor. To find Core Manor, go to the Freestar Collective Consulate, then walk past the Lance Estate and go up the stairs, where he’ll be standing immediately to your left. Speak to him. He will sell you the Core Manor for a whopping 78,000 credits, which is rather expensive considering it’s unfurnished.

Thankfully, this same man is also selling the Stretch Apartment, which is much more affordable. Located in the Stretch, over Sinclair’s Books with the big ‘for sale’ sign on it. Tate will sell this apartment for 45,000 credits, which is much more reasonable.

Now that you know how to find Akila City and make it your home in Starfield, you’ll definitely want to check out the best locations to build outposts. Cheyenne has a few of the best planets and moons to build outposts on for both resources and home building, so be sure to check out our guide.
