Really, you don’t need to collect any of these keys until the endgame. But, if you can pick them up along the way, you may as well. There are 13 Warden’s Keys in total. However, you’ll only need 10 to complete The Planet Crafter.

Clear the Cenote

Before you start searching for the hidden keys, you should first head to the Cenote. Provided you have cleared enough ice, you can head down into it and find a Chip. This chip will allow you actually to see the Warden’s Keys. Before this, they won’t be visible.

Warden’s Key #1

The first key to find is just north of the starting area, beyond the Plateau and through the canyon maze behind the crashed ship. You can find the Warden’s Key situated atop the pillars of rock. Climb up to these by using the fallen metal girders. It is in line with the front of the fallen ship. You will find it at 1581:560.

While you’re here, you should grab the golden chest located just to the west.

Wardnens Key #2

Now, you can head north to 1890:263 to find another Warden’s Key. It is on top of an outcropping of rock you will need to climb.

Wardens Key #3

For the third Warden’s Key in The Planet Crafter, head southeast until you find the enormous crashed ring. It looks like a vast metal bridge. Right in the center of it, you should see an island if you have reached the lake stage; if not, it is just a lump of sand. On this central marker, you will find the next Warden’s Key in The Planet Crafter. It is at coordinates 1444:-762.
