Where to find Beast Against Beast in Final Fantasy 16

Mangy wolf pack.

Throughout your time playing Final Fantasy 16, you’ll inevitably come across plenty of side quests. While the main quests will get you through the story, completing side quests is still a worthy objective. One of these side quests is available in Greensheaves, once Clive and Jill are making their way to Phoenix Gate. We’ll explain where to find the Beast Against Beast quest in Final Fantasy 16.

After you help Martha at Martha’s Rest, a slew of side quests will eventually be available to Clive. Since it’s on the way to the next main quest, you may as well complete it. If you look at the map below, where you’ll find the Beast Against Beast quest in Final Fantasy 16 is northeast of Martha’s Rest. Make your way towards the large stone structure jutting out of the ground. Talk to Fredric, who stands in front of this structure, to receive the quest.

All Fredric asks of you is that you slay the wolves that are blocking the path ahead. He’s already set up bait, and he’d rather you get rid of them. Keep following the path, and you’ll eventually come face-to-face with the small pack of wolves. By this point, you should be used to tougher enemies, so this shouldn’t be much of a hassle. Once you defeat the pack of wolves, continue across the bridge, and speak to Brice. This will complete the quest, and Brice will give you some pretty good rewards.

  • 1,000 Gil
  • 10 Wyrrite
  • 1 Meteorite
  • 20 XP

This isn’t the only side quest available in Greensheaves. There are a couple others available closer to Martha’s Rest if you’re not ready to tackle the next main quest. The XP may not be much, but the Gil comes in handy, as well as the crafting materials.

Final Fantasy 16 is available as a PlayStation 5 exclusive.
