Where to find the Skyhammer in Horizon: Forbidden West – Burning Shores

Finding the Skyhammer.

There are many things to do in Horizon: Forbidden West. Whether that be jaw-droppingly stunning views to take in, or simply a new activity in the open-world, it’s a massive playground where you can do what you want, and find whatever little secrets you want. Some people prefer to just stick along the main path of the game, and not look around for extra loot or items you can find along the way. This is how I mostly play games myself, but it can lead to you missing some items. One of these weapons is the Skyhammer, a slingshot that you can get pretty early on in the Burning Shores DLC, if you know where to look. Here’s our guide on where to find the Skyhammer in Horizon: Forbidden West – Burning Shores.

The Skyhammer is an obtainable weapon you can get during the second mission of the Burning Shores DLC in Horizon: Forbidden West. During this mission you will be doing many different things, climbing, ballista shooting, and looting an ancient building while traversing the environment.

When you’re completing this mission in Horizon: Forbidden West‘s DLC – Burning Shores, you should be coming across dead bodies that you have to examine. When you’ve reached the particular one in the image below, you’ll be close to the Skyhammer.

After examining the body, head up the stairs—don’t forget the stash you can loot to the left of the staircase—then continue down the passageway until you reach a room with a table in the center. You should keep scanning with your Focus at this point to see if you can see the chest where the Skyhammer is located.

If you’re unable to find it using your Focus, you can find it in the center of one of the walls in the room with a conference table that was mentioned earlier. It’s hard to miss, but is easily missable if you don’t double back on yourself in that room or keep scanning the area with your Focus. It should be a ‘Pry to open’ type chest too. You can see the chest in the image below.

This chest contains the Skyhammer, and all that’s left to do now is equip it and start tearing up the ferocious mechs you can find in Horizon: Forbidden West‘s world with it.
