Tears Of The Kingdom Mighty Banana Guide

Mighty Bananas are a powerful ingredient in Tears of the Kingdom. When cooked into a dish, they can provide Link with a very strong attack buff. This makes them the perfect meal to cook before taking on anything dangerous like a Frox. Mighty Bananas aren’t as common as some other ingredients though. But there is one particularly great spot where you can find a load of them. So let’s quickly go over how to get and farm Mighty Bananas in Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom: How to farm Mighty Bananas

Over the course of the game, you may have noticed that Yiga Clan members drop Mighty Bananas. This may even currently be your main source of them as you fight these guys in the Depths. The drop is extremely common, so it’s not a bad way to get Mighty Bananas, but there aren’t enough of these enemies to sustain our Mighty Banana needs. Luckily there’s a spot in Hyrule that guarantees you upwards of 20 to 40 Mighty Bananas per visit.

We’re heading over to the Faron region, at the southern end of Hyrule. Specifically, we’re going to the top of the cliffs overlooking Floria River and Bronas Forest. The regions highlighted on the map above are where the growth of Mighty Bananas is at its strongest. All along those areas, you can find plenty of Mighty Banana trees. You may even encounter Bokoblins carrying Mighty Bananas. And if you take these guys out you can score a bunch more of these ingredients.

After a run through both of these areas, I’ve managed to collect 50 Mighty Bananas. That is a lot of high-tier attack food just waiting to be cooked. So if you want a place to farm Mighty Bananas, there’s no better place in Tears of the Kingdom. Your farming adventures don’t have to end there though. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is now available on Nintendo Switch.
