Certain Pals are better than others for helping you to mine, such as the Lumbering Pals who are great for cutting trees. In this case, let’s explore which Pals you should hunt if you want to mine efficiently.

Palworld: Best Pals for mining

There are two types of Pals you want to look for here, ones with the Mining Work Suitability, and ones with Partner Skills that can help you specifically with mining. How good they are also depends on how rare they are, or what level their Mining skill is. Overall, the best Pals for mining in Palworld are Astegon and Digtoise, alongside many others.

  • Level 1: Fuddler, Rushoar, Cattiva, Depresso, Incineram
  • Level 2: Dumud, Tombat, Mammorest, Quivern
  • Level 3: Digtoise, Reptyro, Menasting, Anubis
  • Level 4: Astegon, Blazamut

Your level 1 Mining Pals are great for early-game mining. You can throw Cattiva or Depresso onto a Stone Pit and have them mine stone for you at your base. But Pals such as Rushoar can increase your efficiency of destroying boulders while mounted, while Fuddler can detect nearby ore.

Mining in Palworld at Level 2 and beyond

All the level 2 Mining Pals have a decent level for mining, but I recommend Reptyro or Digtoise more at level 3. Reptyro increases your mining efficiency while riding them, and Digtoise can perform Shell Spin to effectively mine ore.

Finally, at level 4, Astegon will deal more damage to ore when mounted, making it the best Pal for mining. Blazamut also has level 4 mining, but since Astegon’s Partner Skill can improve it even more, they’re the better option.

Another thing you can use these Pals for is working on a mining base. We have a guide specifically on choosing the best spots for a mining base to put these Pals to work.
