Big changes are afoot as the final stages of the penultimate chapter of Destiny 2 draw to a close and we approach The Final Shape. However, as you gear up for Onslaught and the new quests, you may have missed just a few very nice little gifts given by Shaxx.
Grab your gifts for an instant boost to 1810 power in Destiny 2
To start your journey in The Last Light, it is required that your Guardian is at or above the 1810 level cap. This means you will be high enough level to live up to all the challenges facing you as you get ready for the end of Destiny 2’s decade of storytelling.
However, Shaxx isn’t expecting you to go out and grind for that pinnacle gear. Take a look to the left of the horned hero, and you will notice a chest brimming with gold. This chest has gear that will instantly take you up to level 1810 in Destiny 2, and all for free.
The Gift of The Thunder God chest will contain five new weapons and an entirely new set of gear. These can be infused with your favorite load-outs and gear or simply used as they are. But, there is more. When you grab this chest, you may notice two golden extras sitting in there, too.
Destiny 2 exotics for free
Along with a whole set of gear and weapons, you will also find that you receive two free exotics. I received Thunderlord and a pair of Gauntlets in my Destiny 2 Gift of The Thunder God chest. I am not sure if everyone receives the same rewards. But, as a huge fan of the Exotic Machine Gun, I’m happy with my haul.
Make sure you don’t miss these amazing extras as you head into your adventures for Into the Light.
