Destiny 2 Dawning 2021 event guide – The Pigeon Provides quest and the Zephyr sword
Here are the steps to complete The Pigeon Provides quest during the Dawning 2021 event in Destiny 2:
- Complete The Lost Splicer mission on Europa – This is the introductory quest in Season of the Splicer, so you should have this tally finished automatically if you were around during that season.
- Talk to Saint-14 in the Tower.
- Track down the Eliksni Recipe in the Eventide Ruins on Europa – Use the Eventide Ruins fast travel point, then hop off the nearby cliff. You should see a tunnel opening with a scannable device.
- Collect the following items:
- 5x Glacial Stalwort – This is Europa’s farmable material.
- 10x Harpy Eggs – Dropped by Vex Harpies on Europa.
- 3x Pure Ether Extract – Collected from lost sectors on Europa.
- Collect 15x Dawning Spirit – Deliver gifts/cookies, finish bounties, and complete Dawning triumphs to obtain Dawning Spirit.
- Purchase the Kellsdough from Spider using 15x Dawning Spirit and collect 5x Etheric Spiral (the Tangled Shore’s farmable material).
- Return to Saint-14.
- Open the HELM map and go to the Eliksni Quarter to deliver your Kellsdough treat.
- Return to Saint-14.
- Talk to Eva Levante.
After completing these steps, you should be done with The Pigeon Provides quest. This nets you the Polycarbon Powder shader and the Zephyr, a legendary sword in Destiny 2. Likewise, it unlocks the Edgy Gift Exchange option from Eva’s wares, which has a chance of netting you additional Zephyr swords with various rolls. Lastly, assuming you’ve also finished the Rite of Dawning quest, you’ll acquire the Vapoorwill Spin exotic ship.
