Devolver Digital Showcase reveals Anger Foot, multiple titles delayed to 2024

What's delayed, and what's still coming?

Devolver Digital is well known for its incredible showcases and marketing. Their E3 presentations are the stuff of legend, chock full of a very unique brand of humor. I bring this up because only Devolver Digital could announce delays like this.

Devolver Digital Showcase reveals Wizard With A Gun, multiple titles delayed to 2024

Devolver Digital has announced several delays to upcoming titles with a short “Devolver Delayed” video on its official YouTube channel. As you should expect, the video is hilarious and absolutely worth a watch, even if you don’t care about the games. Here are the titles that have been pushed back into 2024:

  • The Plucky Squire
  • Stick it to the Stickman
  • Skate Story
  • Anger Foot
  • Pepper Grinder

There’s no telling when these titles will drop in 2024, and we will hopefully get more concrete details nearer the time. It’s not all doom and gloom; Devolver Digital has also listed multiple titles still coming in 2023. By the looks of things, we still have a lot to look forward to:

  • Still Coming
  • Gunbrella
  • Wizard with a Gun
  • The Talos Principle 2
  • The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood
  • Karmazoo
  • Broforce Forever (DLC)
  • Mcpixel 3 (DLC)

We don’t know exactly when these games are coming, as most are listed as “Coming Soon” or “2023” on Steam. Still, with less than six months left of the year, we won’t have to wait long.

Delays aren’t always a bad thing

Nobody likes delays, especially to games we’re looking forward to, but as the old adage goes, “A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad.” There have been far too many casualties of rushed development in the games industry. Well-documented releases like Cyberpunk 2077 and Battlefield 2042 serve as cautionary tales on how not to debut a game. Sure, some games manage to bring it back from the brink, but if Devolver Digital is happy to give their studios time to make terrific games, I’m all for it.
