Though there are many weapon vendors in Dragon’s Dogma 2, there are also multiple armor and clothing vendors that are worth checking out. In fact, I recommend buying armor as well as finding it during your adventures in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

Most major towns have a blacksmith that sells good armor and clothing. There are a few towns that don’t have armor and clothing vendors. However, if you’re looking for Courtly clothing, you need to look elsewhere. Here are all the armor and clothing vendor locations in Dragon’s Dogma 2:

  • Borderwatch Outpost
    • Borderwatch Commissary
  • Vernworth
    • Bjorn’s Armory
  • Sacred Arbor
    • Grisha’s Armory
  • Checkpoint Rest Town
    • Celeste’s Smithy
  • Bakbattahl
    • Bodas’s Armory
  • Volcanic Island Camp
    • Volcanic Island Armory
  • Olta’Battahl Coastline
    • The Dragonforged

Here are the towns that don’t have armor and clothing vendors in Dragon’s Dogma 2:

  • Melve
  • Harve Village
  • Nameless Village
  • Excavation Site

Borderwatch Outpost

  • Dragon's Dogma 2 Armor And Clothing Borderwatch Outpost
  • Dragon's Dogma 2 Armor And Clothing Borderwatch Commissary

I recommend buying armor at Borderwatch Outpost. This is the first town you get to in Dragon’s Dogma 2 and buying armor from Borderwatch Commissary is a good idea.

Vernworth

  • Dragon's Dogma 2 Armor And Clothing Vernworth
  • Dragon's Dogma 2 Armor And Clothing Bjorn's Armory

Vernworth has Bjorn’s Armory, which is right next to an items shop and a weapons shop. If you have the Gold, I recommend buying the best armor available at Bjorn’s Armory.

Sacred Arbor

  • Dragon's Dogma 2 Armor And Clothing Sacred Arbor
  • Dragon's Dogma 2 Armor And Clothing Grisha's Armory

Sacred Arbor has an armor and clothing shop in Grisha’s Armory. Just make sure you have someone who speaks elvish. You can avoid Grisha’s Armory unless you’re an Archer. They have good armor for Archers.

Checkpoint Rest Town

  • Dragon's Dogma 2 Armor And Clothing Checkpoint Rest Town
  • Dragon's Dogma 2 Armor And Clothing Celeste's Smithy

You can skip the armor sold at Celeste’s Smithy since Bakbattahl isn’t too far away and has a better selection.

Bakbattahl

  • Dragon's Dogma 2 Armor And Clothing Bakbattahl
  • Dragon's Dogma 2 Armor And Clothing Bodas's Armory

Bakbattahl has some great armor and clothing choices at Bodas’s Armory. I recommend buying armor here. It’ll likely carry you through the rest of the game and into the true ending.

Volcanic Island Camp

  • Dragon's Dogma 2 Armor And Clothing Volcanic Island Camp
  • Dragon's Dogma 2 Armor And Clothing Volcanic Island Armory

Volcanic Island Camp is one of the most generic names for a town ever and the armory isn’t better: Volcanic Island Armory. There are good armor pieces sold here.

The Dragonforge

Dragon's Dogma 2 Armor And Clothing Dragonforge

Besides some rare armor you can find from defeating Drakes and opening chests in caves, the best armor in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is found through The Dragonforge. This NPC is located north of Bakbattahl on the Olta’Battahl Coastline.

You need Wyrmslife Crystal to buy anything he sells which can be acquired by defeating Drakes.
