Genshin Impact: Faruzan best team comps guide

Buff the Anemo boys.

Genshin Impact has a huge roster of characters who fulfill different roles. Some characters are run as the big damage-dealers of the team, while others may heal, buff, or support these characters in other ways. In Version 3.3, a new 4-star character named Faruzan was released, and she fulfills a unique role in the game. Here is our Genshin Impact guide on Faruzan best team comps.

Many support characters in the game are designed around a specific element. For example, Gorou is a 4-star Geo character whose kit designed supports other Geo characters. Faruzan is the Anemo version, basically, and this dictates what teams she is good on.

Faruzan is a 4-star Anemo Bow character whose special kit buffs the damage of Anemo characters. Her Elemental Burst will simultaneously decrease the Anemo RES (resistance) of enemies and Anemo DMG (damage) of allies. At Constellation 6, she can even increase the crit DMG of Anemo characters by a significant amount. As a result, Faruzan has no value outside of teams that utilize Anemo hypercarry characters.

Here are some examples of team comps you can use with Faruzan in Genshin Impact:

  • Xiao / Zhongli / Bennett / Faruzan: Xiao is the original Anemo hypercarry in Genshin Impact, and greatly appreciates the buffs Faruzan provides. Zhongli is here to protect Xiao during his Elemental Burst, as he’s quite vulnerable to taking damage while sapping his own HP. Bennett provides another ATK (attack) buff on top of reliable healing.
  • Scaramouche / Zhongli / Bennett / Faruzan: Scaramouche is the 5-star Anemo DPS character in Version 3.3 of Genshin Impact, and this comp has the same concept as the last one. Scaramouche is a strong Anemo DPS, and Faruzan is designed to make sure he can deal extra damage.

  • Shikanoin Heizou / Faruzan / Bennett / Xiangling: You get the idea by now. Heizou is the 4-star Anemo hypercarry, while Bennett and Xiangling are a strong DPS core. We don’t need Zhongli, as Heizou is not as vulnerable as Scaramouche or Xiao, and Bennett provides more than enough protection.
  • You may have to swap out Bennett for another Anemo character, like Sucrose. Faruzan’s Elemental Burst requires lots of Anemo energy. This can make it difficult to charge Faruzan’s Elemental Burst, which is the main reason why you want to run her. On top of that, Faruzan does not create a lot of Anemo energy herself. This means if you are running a character like Xiao, you might also run into trouble charging his Elemental Burst. With this in mind, adding another Anemo character like Sucrose who can create tons of Anemo particles might be necessary.

Those are some of Faruzan’s best team comps in Genshin Impact. Use her with your Anemo teams and bring the power of the wind to your foes.
