Konami has confirmed that Ground Zeroes will run at 1080p natively on the PS4 and at 720p on the Xbox One. Both games will run at 60fps though Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima has been quoted saying that he recommends gamers get it for PlayStation 4 if they are able. This new info comes from an article released by Konami which compares both current and last gen versions of the game. Below you can see a chart that compares both the systems and how they will differ from one another.

As I said earlier, Hideo Kojima seems to favor the PlayStation 4 version as he was quoted saying the PS4 renders at 1080p at 60fps with”room to spare”. However as you can see from the comparison article, all versions of the game still looks great and it doesn’t seem like any system will be getting a poor looking game.

Ground Zeroes is due for release on March 18th in North America and March 20th in Japan and Europe. The game will be available on the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
