Giving them the slip.

Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 has promised a completely revamped police system to reinvigorate the whole city. No longer are the police more interested in staring at their boots than at crimes, and police chases are finally the high-octane thrill-fests we expect. Or at least, that’s what the new update leads us to believe. If you happen to find yourself in a multi-star situation, you need to know how to escape the police in the Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 update.

So, the police aren’t all that and still won’t pose too much of a threat. Their AI is undoubtedly better, and their driving may just about pass an exam. However, fighting and running from the police isn’t too tricky. But if you find yourself in a bind, try these techniques to escape the new police in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0.

Make some distance

The best and most effective way to escape the 2.0 updates police is to simply put as much distance between you and them as possible. This isn’t too difficult, as they struggle to follow you when you get creative with your movement. If you have a car, throw it off some bridges, jump it over walls, and squeeze it through alleys. They will quickly fall behind as their AI and lack of air support lose sight of you.

If you’re on foot, you will find that climbing buildings and other structures is all you need to do to escape the police. They are rather averse to climbing, and if they send any drones after you, you can quickly shoot them down to escape the police in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0.

Kill ‘em all

Just start blasting. It isn’t the easiest method, but it is pretty effective. The best option is to get somewhere difficult to access and funnel them into where you are. Killing enough of the police will drop their numbers down quickly to leave a gap before the next wave.

You will notice that when the amount of police is low enough, they lose sight of you. Maintain distance from their view range, and you’re in the clear. If you have enough RAM, the Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 update will let you blow cars up with your mind. This is a great way to thin the herds quickly and escape the police.

Time to go home

Bring the pain, destroy all the police you like, then just make your way back home and pop the kettle on. As soon as you enter your safehouse, or even just the lobby if you have the Corpo safehouse, you’re free. The police can’t enter the safehouse and will immediately call off the chase, allowing you to escape in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0.

If you’re a little far from one, hop in a car and dive your way over there. The AI won’t cause too much of a problem with driving to your home.

Pull a sneaky on them

Each of the police has a line of sight that needs to be paid attention to in order to escape in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0. This is relatively easy to avoid and can make escaping as simple as crouching behind a big shrub or around a corner.

I found that if I just ran around a corner or parked my car under a bridge, the AI wouldn’t have the intelligence to chase me. It is simply a case of waiting the search out and then coming back into the sunlight.
