Aside from prying one from an unlucky victim, you’ll need to head to one of the new POIs. Eclipsed Estate, Relentless Retreat, and Sanguine Suites all have vaults underneath them. These can be found downstairs in each location. Gun turrets and cameras are dotted around each area, so tread carefully. Gunfire can destroy these, but most are easy to avoid if you don’t want to attract attention.

Once you’re deep enough underground, you’ll find a miniboss like Kado Thorne underneath Eclipsed Estate (pictured). These enemies aren’t too difficult to beat, and even if you only have basic weapons, you’ll be fine. Ensure you always have cover nearby and avoid any turrets, as they won’t target the boss.

Once you’ve defeated them, they’ll drop a Vault Keycard and a Mythic gun. Use the Keycard on the Vault door. This door takes ages to open, so keep an eye on your surroundings and make sure nobody is sneaking in to steal your prize. Once you’re inside, you’ll have several Mythic items to choose from, including the Foundation’s MK-Seven Assault Rifle.

Interact with the display case to break the glass and take your weapon. This triggers a ‘Lockdown,’ so check all the high-rarity chests in the room before you do. Breaking the display case whips all the AI in the area into a frenzy. You can shoot them, but running is safer, as players will likely be all over the place.

Sadly, you can’t use the new Rocket Rams to get in or out of the Vaults, as the walls are solid. You can the Ram once you’re outside the vault, and if you aim it upwards through the ceiling, you should avoid any players looking to ambush you.

There you have it; that’s how to get the Mythic Foundation’s MK-Seven Assault Rifle in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4. You can use this method to get other goodies like Bottomless Chug Jug too, so vaults are well worth the risk.
