Monopoly GO fans logging in on February 21 were met with a very nice surprise. The announcement of Wild Cards! Here’s what they are and how to get them.
What are Wild Sticker in Monopoly GO?
Monopoly GO showed everyone a fun animatic of Lizzie discovering a shiny new element – the Wild Sticker. These Wild Stickers can turn into any sticker that the player has yet to get. And I mean any.
I was delighted to see that upon receiving the free Wild Sticker that Scopely has gifted all players in the announcement of this new item, that I was even able to turn it into a Golden 5-Star Sticker. This makes the Wild Sticker the most powerful item in the game yet, trumping the previous ruling champion the Galaxy Sticker Pack.
The Galaxy Sticker Pack guarantees a Sticker that you don’t yet have in your album, making it invaluable to every player, especially those close to finishing the collection. However, the Wild Sticker gives us agency over which Sticker we pick, and can purposefully choose a Sticker that closes an album.
With the announcement of such an amazing item, players – myself included – simply need to know how we can get them.

How to get Wild Sticker in Monopoly GO
Unfortunately, even after the announcement, there is not a whisper of any Wild Stickers in the game. Not even their Facebook announcement mentioned any way of claiming them. Like everything else, the Wild Sticker will likely be a reward, but the rarest and hardest-to-achieve award we’ve seen yet.
The Galaxy Sticker Pack only surfaces as a reward near critical times, and only for high achievers. I have only seen it awarded as a top reward for tournaments on the dawn of a Sticker Album.
With the Space Treasures event coming up, we’ll likely see the Wild Sticker as a reward there, as it’s the latest event after the announcement. It would be nice of Scopely to make the first Wild Sticker easier to access than all future ones by making a reward for completing the Space Treasures event, but it isn’t likely.
