Epic Games has added a new skin to Fortnite called Sunspot, and here is how you can get it.
Fortnite: How to get the Sunspot skin
We all know that skins and cosmetics are one of the main attractions of Fortnite. To keep fans’ thrist for new looks quenched, Epic has added a new skin to Fortnite, called the Sunspot outfit.

If you only want to buy the Sunspot outfit, you can do so from the Item Shop. This item alone will cost you 1200 V-Bucks. However, the skin was released to the game as a part of the new Solar Sweetheart set. The Solar Sweetheart set will cost you 2,000 V-Bucks and you can buy it as well from the Item Shop. The Solar Sweetheart set comes with the following items.
- Sunspot Outfit
- Nova Snackpack
- Stellar Striker Pickaxe
The coolest thing about the Sunspot outfit is that it comes with a different variant as well. The second variant of this outfit is called the Cold Fusion variant. In the alternative variant, you can equip your Sunspot character with a blue and white jacket. Moreover, once you have bought the skin, the LEGO Fortnite version of the outfit will automatically be available for you.
When will the Sunspot skin leave the Fortnite Item Shop
It is still not clear as to when the Sunspot skin will leave the Item Shop. However, according to the trends, the skin is supposed to be available for players to buy for a long time. Like every other skin, the Sunspot skin is also supposed to make intermittent reappearances in the Fortnite Item Shop after its initial run. So, if you don’t get it now, you can get later, but exactly when is anyone’s guess.
