How to level up quickly in Assassin’s Creed: Mirage

The grind is gone!

Assassin’s Creed: Mirage is looking like it wants to change the franchise again. From leaving its heavy RPG elements behind to going back into what made the series. However, some aspects of the last few games remain in the latest entry. One such mechanic is the skills and skill tree Basim gets as he progresses through the story. But don’t worry, it’s not as heavy as they were in Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey — they’re more streamlined and far less overwhelming. With that said, Assassin’s Creed: Mirage has changed the leveling system in the game. To learn how to level up quickly in Assassin’s Creed: Mirage, consider following this guide.

Assassin’s Creed: Mirage – How to level up quickly

The latest Assassin’s Creed game has RPG mechanics but, as mentioned, doesn’t lean too heavily on them. Since there are no experience point gains or leveling bar, you may be lost about how to earn points. Well, it’s easy to do and you might be able to farm them using certain methods. I’ll give you a snapshot of the ways I’ve found that yield skill points.

Best ways to level up quickly

Each of the following methods might give out one or two skill points. But it’s up to you how you want to obtain them. There may be more, and we’ll upgrade accordingly.

  • Tales of Baghdad: These are side missions you can complete. Each region of Baghdad has one, and you’ll have to do some exploring to find them. As soon as you find one by exploring the region you’re in, I highly recommend doing them. They usually give out a single point, but you may get two. However, you can’t farm them because you can only do the Tales once per story run. Nonetheless, they are fun to do and showcase Baghdad better.
  • Getting milestones in your investigations: Each target you’re after has clues that need to be unlocked. When you get all the clues, the target will be ready to take down. In my experience, I get two skill points after I assassinate the central target. These skill points are more connected to the story, so farming is not possible. Your best bet would be to cycle the investigations with other missions that give out skill points. That way, you can get maximum output and fill up the skill tree in no time.
  • Contracts: Doing these side missions is great to not just get skill points, but farm resources like Leather and get certain tokens like Merchant Tokens, which can be used on Traders. I’ve only found contracts that award two skill points, but you may find contracts that give three. This is unconfirmed, but when you head to a contract board in any of the Assassin Bureaus, there may be two or three contracts that reward you with skill points. If they are there, take them both and you could potentially get a large number of skill points at once. It’s also worth noting that contracts are easy to do, provided you’re set up for specific ones. Even if you don’t get a skill point, you’ll always get something worth your time.
