In LEGO Fortnite, Simple Sushi can be cooked on a Grill or in an Oven by combining a Fish Fillet with Wheat Grain. Once cooked, place it into your Quickbar and chow down to complete the “Eat Simple Sushi in a Survival World” Quest. Not entirely sure how I feel about warm sushi, though…

How to build a Grill

Grills are one of the most important Stations in LEGO Fortnite, allowing you to cook raw food to improve their Health and Hunger regeneration. To build one, you need 30 Granite, which is gained by harvesting rocks.

How to get Fish Fillet

Fish Fillets are made by placing a fish in a Food Processor. I chucked in an Orange Flopper (the most common fish in the game), which produced two lovely Fish Fillets ready to be sushi-fied.

To quickly complete the other Go Fish! Quests, I recommend crafting a Fishing Rod and using a Bait Bucket to catch four fish — even if you already have the ingredients ready to go. Completing all three quests earns you a bonus of 15,000 XP, for a total of 21,000 XP. Not bad!

How to build a Food Processor

To build a Food Processor, you need the following resources:

  • Plank x8 — Crafted at a Lumber Mill for 1 Wood.
  • Bone x7 — Drops from Skeletons.
  • Wooden Rod x3 — Crafted at a Lumber Mill for 1 Wood.
  • Granite x6 — Found by breaking rocks.

If you’ve been playing LEGO Fortnite for at least a few hours, you should have plenty of these materials lying around. Don’t forget to check in with your Villagers to receive materials from their jobs if you’re running low, however.

How to get Wheat Grain

Wheat Grain can be made by running Wheat through a Grain Mill. It’s also a widespread resource found inside abandoned buildings and caves in Chests.

How to build a Grain Mill

To build a Grain Mill, you need the following resources:

  • Knotrood Rod x20 — Crafted at a Lumber Mill for 1 Knotroot.
  • Granite Slab x20 — Crafted at a Stone Breaker for 1 Granite.
  • Shell x3 — Drops from Rollers (crabs).

Grain Mills are used to make seeds for planting in your base, making them well worth the cost of materials. They can also produce Flour, which you can use to bake some delicious bread.

If you acquired the taste for fishing on your sushi journey, you can earn even more XP by completing the Master Fishing Bonus Goal Quests. As long as you can survive cold temperatures to fish in the Frostlands, completing these should be quick and easy. Bon appétit!
