Starfield – how to treat Joint Pain

When you are suffering from Joint Pain, any efforts to sneak about (by walking in a crouch, for example) consume O2. This is bad, because draining your O2 also can lead to damage in certain dangerous environments. You want to fix that problem as quickly as possible. To treat Joint Pain, use any medial supplies that treat the overall Sprain condition, or visit a medical professional.

Starfield Joint Pain Symptom Explanation

Joint pain is a symptom of the Sprain condition. That condition most often results if you jump or fall from sufficiently high distance. It doesn’t happen every time, depending on how hearty you are. But it will happen occasionally, especially if you have a habit of dropping off ledges. I find that I do fall a bit in caves.

To treat Sprain yourself check your First Aid supplies for relevant items. Options that treat that symptom include the various types of Immobilizer you might find or purchase. For example, I currently have a Repairing Immobilizer and several Anchored Immobilizers, in addition to the standard variety.

If you don’t have an item to tend to your injury, consult a medical professional. You will find them available in cities throughout the galaxy. Look for a Reliant Medical building in any large settlement, or visit a doctor in The Clinic. Any of the numerous doctors will offer to fix all ailments for 1000 credits. Some treatments cost even less. While you are visiting such individuals, consider buying additional supplies. They don’t add much mass, and you may find you need them in a pinch.

Starfield is available to purchase on Steam and the Microsoft Store.
