Best ways to win the Focus Activity in Destiny 2
There are no cheats or cheeses to winning the Focus Activity. The main thing you need to do is compete and perform well. Look at The Tower map, scroll to the top to see when the next Focus Activity goes live, and compete.
If a Focus Activity is already live, scroll over the four Guardian Game playlists, see which one is the Focus Activity, and hop in. I recommend grabbing Guardian Games Bounties and Contender Cards from Eva Levante, Nightfall Bounties from Commander Zavala, and Crucible Bounties from Shaxx before diving in to kill two birds with one stone.
A strategy you might want to employ to win Focus Activities is to block out two hours of your day to focus solely on playing the Focus Activity. Right when it goes live, play the Focus Activity with your best build to ensure you get the most points for your class.
You may want to coordinate with other people from your class in Discord or on Reddit to make a coordinated strike on a specific Focus Activity time slot. Win or lose, you’ll earn tier rewards that are worth the fight.
How to collect Focus Activity tier reward in Destiny 2
Once the Focus Activity is done, if you participated in at least one game, you can collect your class’ tier reward. Focus Activities have a three-tier threshold. Once your class earns enough points in the Focus Activity, you progress through the Bronze, Silver, and Gold tiers. While the winner of the Focus Activity does get their entire Medallion Case filled with Medallions, it’s still worth trying to get past the top tier threshold.
To open your Focus Activity tier rewards, open your character menu and scroll over to your inventory. There, you’ll find and be able to open your tier reward. All that’s left to do now is prove your worth by making it to the top 10% in Nightfall and Supremacy.
