Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Season Pass 2 has been announced

Play as both the powerful and powerless.

In a new trailer, Developer Owlcat Games just unveiled Season Pass 2 for its acclaimed RPG Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. This trailer sees Creative Director Alexander Mishulin giving a sneak peek into the season pass, which kicks off the developer’s extensive new plans for future DLC and content updates. According to a news update on Steam, the season pass at least partially resulted from a survey asking fans about their dream DLC, which managed to accrue over 30,000 participants. Owlcat Games has allowed players to preorder the season pass ahead of the release date of its first DLC, which the developers have not yet revealed.

The season pass’ first DLC will introduce both a new companion to fight alongside the Knight Commander’s party. The new shifter class assumes the traits of wild animals to boost its close-combat prowess. Additionally, the DLC lets players learn more about “the old Sarkoris” and “find a new love that could transcend time.”

The next DLC will continue the story of the “Through the Ashes” expansion with a new six-to-seven-hour campaign. With a dangerous new demon lord running amok and the Knight Commander out doing something else, players will have to rely on a band of ordinary adventurers to make things right. Players cannot make use of any mythic powers with this new group. But once they complete the campaign, they will be handsomely rewarded with a new dungeon for the Knight Commander to access.

After this campaign comes the final DLC for Season Pass 2 of Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, which sees the Knight Commander returning to Kenabres. This DLC allows players to take a break from all the constant combat by partaking in Kenabres’ new festival to spend more time with their party members and loved ones. Players can’t slack off the entire time, however, as the war has not yet ended.
