Superman Fortnite

Superman is arguably one of the most powerful superheroes of all time, but that won’t help him survive on the Isle of the Storm.¬†Epic Games has just added Superman to Fortnite, allowing players to suit up as the Man of Steel himself starting today. Supes is also getting several distinct looks that players can unlock by completing a series of quests.

The Superman skin is available for Chapter 2 Season 7 battle pass owners but won’t be unlocked instantly. Instead, players must prove their worth by completing several Superman Quests which, thankfully, seem fairly straightforward.

The main questline revolves around restoring Clark Kent’s memories and helping him return to his super self by doing the following:

  • Complete 1 quest from Clark Kent, Armored¬†Batman, or Beast Boy
Unlocks the Call to Action Emoticon.
  • Complete 3 quests from Clark Kent, Armored Batman, or Beast Boy
    Unlocks the Superman Shield Spray.
  • Complete 5 quests from Clark Kent, Armored Batman, or Beast Boy
    Unlocks the Clark Kent Outfit.
  • Glide through 3 rings as Clark Kent
Unlocks the Daily Planet Back Bling.
  • Use a phone booth as Clark Kent

Extra Superman cosmetics are also available.

Epic Quests will also be available for those who’d like even more challenges to complete for bonus rewards. These quests will grant extra Superman-themed cosmetic items such as the black Shadow skin variant, a Superman cape glider, the Daily Planet Back Bling, and more. There isn’t much information on the Epic Quests but they should be similar to what players have come to expect from Fortnite.

While Superman is known for defending Earth, he still is originally from Krypton, making him a perfect fit for this season’s Alien invasion theme. The addition of a Superman skin has been a long time coming as Epic Games has included several DC characters such as Deathstroke, Batman, and Harley Quinn.
