zombies Nikolai

Call of Duty fans have seen a glimpse of the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War single-player campaign and multiplayer modes. So far, players have been left in the dark surrounding the zombies mode. However, this could be about to change as the crossover of the new title and Call of Duty: Warzone continues. Now, a prominent Call of Duty leaker has revealed some screenshots of a zombies character in Call of Duty: Warzone. Nikolai may be recognizable to those who enjoy the zombies narrative.

Nikolai was seen in multiple Call of Duty Black Ops titles. Comparing those with the screenshots provided by @ModernWarzone, you can tell that his character is very similar to versions from past titles. As you can see, he is wearing the iconic blood-splattered vest. Also, his facial features such as his beard are the same as past versions of the zombies Nikolai. Perhaps, the character will be introduced as part of the rumored zombies royale mode.

This would not be the first time that screenshots were used to tease new Call of Duty: Warzone content. Before the opening up of the Stadium was announced, Activision released a screenshot with the Stadium in the background. Following this, fans were quick to spot that the Stadium roof was open.

When will the zombies version of Nikolai be released?

It will be interesting to see the other ways in which Call of Duty: Warzone transitions to the theme of the next title. It is unknown when the zombies Nikolai will be released into the battle royale and what clues it will bring. Season 6 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone is set to begin on September 29. The new season will be marked with the addition of a subway station to Verdansk and two new operators. Perhaps, fans will find out more in a potential mid-season update.
