The Jak-12 is the latest weapon to arrive in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone. Fans of Modern Warfare 2 will recognize this shotgun, previously known as the AA-12. The Jak-12 is the same, however, with the various possibilities in the gunsmith to make it more powerful. Shotguns are currently popular in Verdansk, as they are capable of getting quick and easy kills. There is no doubt that you will want to try out the Jak-12 in your next match.
This fully automatic open bolt shotgun already has a high amount of control and damage, but more is always better. To begin, use the ZLR J-3600 Torrent barrel to improve the aim-down-sight (ADS) and movement speeds. The barrel will also provide you with a wider pellet spread. Pairing this with the 5mW Laser will give you some much needed hip-fire accuracy, while improving your sprint-to-fire speed.
Next, equip the 8-R Dragon’s Breath ammunition to deal lasting damage to your opponent. The damage from the shotgun pellet, as well as the fire, can prove to be deadly. In addition, sound suppression is important for Call of Duty: Warzone. Therefore, the Forge Tac Marauder is important for silencing your weapon and strengthening your damage range. Finally, equip a grip tape. The Stippled Grip Tape will allow for better (ADS) speed and sprint-to-fire speed. Alternately, you may want to use the Granulated Grip Tape for increased aiming stability and steadiness while aiming and moving.
Infinity Ward’s stealth-added shotgun
Surprisingly, Infinity Ward added the Jak-12 into Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone in secret. The patch notes did not mention the weapon at all. Certainly, it’s possible that many players have yet to discover the shotgun. It will be interesting to see if the Jak-12 finds a place in the ever-changing meta in Verdansk.
