Potions are very crucial consumables that you must keep an eye on for when they deplete. But where do you get more potions in Final Fantasy 16? Well, you can buy more potions through Merchants like Charon at the Hideaway. Between missions, you should take care of your stock and replenish potions.

Once you unlock the Hideaway, you should chat with Charon and look at the Charon’s Toll shop. It won’t take that long before you get to this point in the story. The Hideaway acts as a sort of home base for Clive and others. The first Merchant you’ll meet is Charon, but there are plenty more in different regions.

Not only can you purchase more potions, but you can buy weapons and gear as well. Of course, you can craft your own weapons and gear through the Blacksmith, but if you have the extra Gil, why not spend it?

But what about carrying more potions? At the beginning of the game, you can’t hold too many at once. Continue through the main story, and you’ll begin to unlock more side quests. Some side quests are crucial to finish, because they can unlock important features.

Keep an eye out for the side quests called ‘Weird Science’ and ‘Even Weirder Science’. Upon completing these quests, Clive’s potion inventory will increase, allowing you to hold more potions at a time. Also, if you want to know about some other interesting ways Clive can heal himself, we’ve covered that already.
