PC Game Pass July 2022

Yakuza returns to PC Game Pass to start off July 2022

Time to play Yakuza from the beginning...again.

PC Game Pass subscribers are getting some new games this month, along with some returning titles. Xbox has announced what’s joining PC Game Pass in the first half of July in 2022, and if you’ve ever wanted to return to the streets of Kamurocho, you’re in luck. Unfortunately, we’re also saying goodbye to a handful of games too.

From today, PC Game Pass subscribers will have access to four different titles. The first of the lot is Last Call BBS, which launched day one on the service. If you want an assortment of different puzzles, which include assembling a mech, then definitely check this out. The next three titles are big ones. Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2 have all returned to the service. They left PC Game Pass late last year, but now they’re back. If you’ve never played the beginning of Kazuma Kiryu’s long-running saga, then this is the perfect place to start.

There are plenty of other games coming to PC Game Pass in July as well. Three titles launch on July 7, and each one brings something unique to the table. DJMax Respect V is perfect for all the up-and-coming DJs out there. Matchpoint: Tennis Championships is an in-depth tennis game, featuring a fleshed-out career mode. In addition, Road 96 is a procedurally generated adventure where you meet characters and make tough choices on a journey to the border. Be sure to check these out when they come to the service.

And there’s more

PC Game Pass subscribers have even more to look forward to on July 14. A total of five games are coming to service on that date. Starting off, we’ve got Escape Academy, which recreates the experience of real-life escape rooms with over a dozen levels. Then there’s My Friend Peppa Pig, a potentially fun game for the family to try out. Joining that is Paw Patrol The Movie: Adventure City Calls. To offset those positive vibes, check out the dark horror platformer Overwhelm, which is chock-full of gore. Finally, we’ve got PowerWash Simulator, which provides players with the ultimate satisfaction that only a power washer can bring.

Wave goodbye to these five games

It’s the sad time of the month when we also need to say goodbye to some games, as five of them leave PC Game Pass for the foreseeable future. Atomicrops, Carrion, Children of Morta, Cris Tales, and Lethal League Blaze all leaving the service on July 15. Be sure to check those out if any of them interest you because they’ll be gone in two weeks.

All in all, July looks to be a strong month for PC Game Pass. There are plenty of games that you shouldn’t miss out on. The Yakuza series in particular is fantastic, and it’s great to see it come back. It’s also neat to see some more unique indie titles come to the service as well.
