Why wait for campaign info?

The release of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War release is just over a month away. So far, fans have received a taste of all three modes. However there is still a lot to learn about the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War campaign, multiplayer, and zombies. A prominent Call of Duty leaker has now shed some more light on the single-player campaign. Also, the leaker shared a screenshot of some files, showing other content that may be playable upon release. This included a hint at what the future of Call of Duty: Warzone could look like.

The campaign footage shows a character with a scarred face, who is wearing sunglasses. He appears to be watching over fighter jets and helicopters that are getting loaded up. Although this does not give much away, perhaps some of the campaign combat could take place in the air. In addition, the leaker states that the video is a clip from the end of the story. As the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War campaign will have multiple endings, it will be interesting to see how the rest of the story plays out to reach the leaked ending.

Take a trip around the world in campaign and multiplayer!

To accompany the footage, a screenshot of various files gives fans an insight into where the rest of the game is set. It appears that both the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War campaign and multiplayer will be set in various locations around the world. From the names of the files, they suggest players will be taken to countries such as Germany, Russia, and Vietnam. In terms of Call of Duty: Warzone, there appears to be two files, with one suggesting a forest map could be on the way.

The multiplayer map, Miami, was featured in the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War alpha. It will be interesting to see if any of the maps from the files will feature in the upcoming beta. For PC, the beta will be playable on Battle.net, and you can gain early access by digitally preordering the game. The open beta starts on October 17.
