With the introduction of the new area, Erinnyes Forest, in Genshin Impact, a lot of extra activities like collecting Foggy Forest Branches have been added to the game.
In a hidden sequel to “The Wild Fairy of Erinnyes” quest, you will be asked to collect six Foggy Forest Branches for an NPC named Pahsiv. These branches will not be shown on your map, so you will need to find each one of them by yourself. In this guide, we will show you the location of all Foggy Forest Branches in Genshin Impact.
How to find all Foggy Forest Branches in Genshin Impact
As a sequel to “The Wild Fairy of Erinnyes” quest, you can find a total of six Foggy Forest Branches around different areas of the Erinnyes Forest. These branches are moderately far from each other and might be a bit confusing to find. For collecting each Foggy Forest Branch, you will need to complete some kind of activity or puzzle.
Foggy Forest Branch #1
Use the teleport waypoint on the west side of Loch Urania. After reaching the location, head south and you will notice a challenge on top of a mountain. You have to climb to the top of the mountain to begin the challenge. The challenge is to collect 10 Hydro Particles within 45 seconds. As soon as you start the challenge, the hydro particles will spawn in front of you.
Fly out of the mountain and keep collecting all the Hydro Particles while floating in the air. This will gradually lead you to the pond under you. The last three Hydro Particles can be found under the water. So swim downwards and collect the rest of the Hydro Particles to complete this challenge. After completing the challenge, an Exquisite Chest will appear on the ground. Open the chest to collect the first Foggy Forest Branch.
Foggy Forest Branch #2
Teleport to the waypoint situated on the northwestern side of Weeping Willow of the Lake. From this waypoint, head towards the southwestern side on top of the hills. Here, you will need to activate four Water Volume Detection Crystals to get the second Foggy Forest Branch.
After reaching this location, collect the Hydrogana in front of you and stand on the water for a few seconds. Once the Hydrogana transforms into a Hydro Core, go to the top of the mountain and install the Hydro Core on the repository. Now, make your way to the crystal mechanism nearby. Hit the crystal mechanism and it will start moving the Water Volume Detection Crystals in a circular path.
Hitting the crystal mechanism once again will stop the Water Volume Detection Crystals. Here, you will need to stop the Water Volume Detection Crystals in such a way that two of them are touching the water, while the other two are touching the aura of the Hydro Core. Once you have done it successfully, a Precious Chest will appear beside you. You can get the second Foggy Forest Branch from this chest.

Foggy Forest Branch #3
Teleport to the waypoint on the southeastern side of Weeping Willow of the Lake and head north from this location. Here, you will find two Contaminated Bacterial Mats above a pond. In order to defeat these creatures, you will need to obtain the Xenochromatic Ball Octopus ability. You can obtain the ability from a blue orb nearby.
Once you have the ability, defeat the Contaminated Bacterial Mats to open the access to the pond. Afterward, make your way to the deep of the pond and you will find an Exquisite Chest here. Opening the Exquisite Chest will give you the third Foggy Forest Branch as a reward.
Foggy Forest Branch #4
Use the waypoint on the north side of Foggy Forest Path to teleport to the location of the fourth Foggy Forest Branch. From here, go to the pond nearby and you will find a hard pink shell. Hit the shell a few times with your ability to open the shell. Inside the shell, you will find an Ousia Black. Now, collect the Ousia Black and jump into the water of the pond.
After diving deeper into the pond, you will find a Pneuma Storage box. Hit the storage box with the Ousia Black to break it. After breaking, an Exquisite Chest will appear in its place. Open the Exquisite Chest to get the fourth Foggy Forest Branch as a reward.
Foggy Forest Branch #5
Fast travel to the waypoint on the shore towards the east side of Foggy Forest Branch and head to the west. Here, you will find a locked iron barrier that requires three keys to be unlocked. Inside this cage, you will find the fifth Foggy Forest Branch. So, in order to get this Foggy Forest Branch, you will need to collect three keys first.
Getting the first key is a very simple process. If you look around the iron barrier, you will find a broken ship lying on the ground. Go near the ship and climb on the top of it. Here, you will find a bird’s nest. Investigating the bird’s nest will give you the first vault key.
The second key can be found on the left side of the cage on top of a wooden structure. You will find a few Treasure Hoarders in this place. Defeat all of them to unlock a Common Chest nearby. Now open the Common Chest to get the second key.
Now, head to the southwestern side of the waypoint. Here, you will find some small chests lying on the ground alongside some crates. Investigate these chests to find the third and final vault key to unlock the iron barrier.
After collecting all the vault keys, make your way back to the Iron Barrier again. Use the keys to unlock the cage and get inside it. Here, you will find a Precious Chest with a Hydroculus nearby. Opening the Precious Chest will give you the fifth Foggy Forest Branch as a reward.
Foggy Forest Branch #6
Come back to the waypoint on the east side of Foggy Forest Branch and head towards the pond shown on the map on the northwest side of this waypoint. After reaching this location, defeat the Treasure Hoarders nearby and climb on top of the mountain on your right side. Here, you will find a Potential Energy Orb. To move this orb, you must acquire the Xenochromatic Ball Octopus ability. Like before, you can get this ability from the blue orb situated nearby.
Once you have the Xenochromatic Ball Octopus ability, use and hold it on the Potential Energy Orb. This will send the Potential Energy Orb bouncing off to the pond. Once it gets into the water, the orb will create a vortex inside the water. Now dive underwater and enter the vortex to enter another world. Here, you will find an Exquisite Chest, with the last Foggy Forest Branch inside it.
How to use the Foggy Forest Branch in Genshin Impact
After acquiring all six Foggy Forest Branches, go visit Pahsiv and trade the Foggy Forest Branches with her. However, you will need to complete “The Wild Fairy of Erinnyes” quest beforehand, to be able to trade the Foggy Forest Branches with Pahsiv. Giving Pahsiv the branches will grant you the following rewards.
