Black Ops Cold War Lapa Class

The Haunting has arrived in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. For a limited time, you will be able to play some Halloween themed game modes, get your hands on some spooky cosmetics, and more. In addition, a new weapon has been introduced into the submachine gun category, named the LAPA. In order to unlock the gun, you are required to complete one of two sets of nine challenges, available in Warzone or Black Ops Cold War. If you prefer, you can purchase a blueprint of the gun from the in-game store. As you level up the LAPA, you will be able to unlock the attachments required to build a powerful class in Black Ops Cold War.

Already, in multiplayer, the LAPA boasts a strong amount of damage and speed. This class will focus on maximising the best features of the LAPA, while providing you with improved recoil control.

The best Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War LAPA submachine gun attachments

  • Muzzle: Infantry Compensator
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Barrel: 10.2” Ranger
  • Handle: Airborne Elastic Wrap
  • Optic: Microflex LED

Starting with the Muzzle, the Infantry Compensator is a viable choice as it improves your vertical recoil control. Pairing this with the Field Agent Grip Underbarrel will see your LAPA become even more accurate with extra vertical and horizontal recoil control. When choosing a barrel, the 10.2” Ranger will provide more useful benefits to your weapon, in terms of improved effective damage range and bullet velocity.

Next, the Airborne Elastic Wrap will allow you to experience faster aim down sight time and boosted flinch resistance. Also, you will easily be able to aim while going prone if needed. To complete your class, the Microflex LED Optic will significantly improve your visibility on the battlefield.

This LAPA class definitely has the ability to compete with other submachine guns in Black Ops Cold War. It will be interesting to see if it cements itself into the Season Six meta.
