Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season Six is here, and so is the final round-based Zombies map, Forsaken. Upon exploring the map, fans were surprised to find an arcade room which features three mini games. Playing an arcade game in Black Ops Cold War Forsaken will not come for free though, as you will have to acquire some arcade tokens to be able to activate any of the machines.
Before you can even decide which mini game you want to try out, you will need to turn on the power and end the lockdown. Once you have followed the steps on screen to do this, the arcade machines will be ready to use. To get your hands on an arcade token, you will find that slaying hoards of the undead can drop one. If a zombie you kill does drop a token, it will appear on the floor as a glowing blue object. All you have to do is interact with the token to pick it up.
Another way you can get an arcade token in Forsaken is by purchasing one. In the arcade room itself, there is a machine that allows you to trade points for one. The machine is on the left side of the room as you enter from the outside, situated beside a mannequin. However, they cost a total of 10,000 points per token, so you may prefer sticking to killing zombies.
Using your arcade tokens in Black Ops Cold War’s Forsaken
One playable arcade machine is a Call of Duty: World at War mini game. Using your arcade token here will take you to the Nacht Der Untoten map. Long time fans of the franchise will notice that you are transported to the starting room of the classic map. This mini game tasks you with wiping out waves of zombies, earning rewards along the way. For completing this mini game, you will earn a lot of salvage.
If you have played Outbreak, the next game will be familiar to you. Activating the Der Eisendrache Pinball Machine will see you take on the dragon quest. Killing zombies within the ring will fill up the dragon and you will have to continue to do this until it’s full. For your efforts, you will be greeted with a gold chest which can contain perks, salvage, high rarity weapons, and more.
If obstacle courses are more your thing…
Finally, you can hop into Enduro and try the new ARC-XD car scorestreak. Here, you will be tasked to complete an obstacle course which you’ll have to navigate using the various ramps, and the jumping mechanic. Using your arcade token at this machine will give you the opportunity to collect more essence.
Arcade tokens in Forsaken are definitely a unique feature to include in Black Ops Cold War Zombies. With Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies being developed by Treyarch, who knows what other surprises the team may have in store. We won’t have to wait much longer to find out as Vanguard is set to launch on November 5.
