Taking a new marksman rifle to the Pacific.

Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone Pacific Season Three has launched with some brand new content. In Caldera, Operation Monarch is getting ready to begin, while Vanguard has received a trophy system and a new multiplayer map. As always, a new season means there are new weapons to unlock. One of these weapons is the M1916 marksman rifle, which you can use once you reach tier 15 of the Battle Pass. Leveling up the weapon will allow you to access all the attachments needed to build the best M1916 class in Warzone Pacific.

The M1916 is not the strongest weapon in the marksman rifle category. It performs best at medium to longer ranges. This class will predominantly focus on improving the accuracy of the weapon, so your shots are on point as soon as you begin firing.

  • Muzzle: Mercury Silencer
  • Barrel: ZP 762mm Precision
  • Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
  • Stock: ZP M502 Custom
  • Magazine: 6.5mm Sakura 20 Round Mags
  • Ammunition: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Stippled Grip
  • Perk: Quickscope
  • Perk 2: Fully Loaded
  • Optic: G16 2.5x

Let’s begin by breaking down the attachments. First up is the Mercury Silencer, which is important as it keeps your shots hidden from the mini-map. In terms of a barrel, the ZP 762mm adds multiple benefits to your weapon. With it, you experience greater bullet velocity and aim down sight spread. In addition, your M1916 will be highly accurate and controllable with reduced scope sway and gun bob. Pairing this with the ZP M502 Custom stock further boosts your aim down sight spread, while providing more horizontal recoil control and a faster aim down sight speed. Then, the M1941 Hand Stop underbarrel further addresses the accuracy of the gun.

Load your M1916 with powerful bullets

When you are selecting a magazine, the 6.5mm Sakura 20 Round Mags is a viable option. This will make your marksman rifle deadly, as it will increase the fire rate, headshot damage, recoil control, and accuracy. By choosing the Lengthened ammunition, you gain more bullet velocity, which is useful at longer ranges. To make sure you are taking the maximum starting ammunition to the battlefield, equip the Fully Loaded Perk.

There are a few more attachments to note. The Stippled Grip will give you the upper hand by improving initial and recovery recoil. Also, the Quickscope Perk reinforces this with improved accuracy for a short while after aiming down sight. Last but not least, the G16 2.5x is a clear sight which will allow you to take advantage of the added accuracy.

An M1916 class is best suited to long-range fights in Warzone Pacific. Therefore, you should use it alongside a gun that thrives in close-quarter combat to achieve a versatile loadout that is ready for every situation. Submachine guns, shotguns, and pistols are all viable options. Currently, the Owen Gun is one of the strongest submachine guns in Caldera and Rebirth Island. If you prefer to grab Ghost from your first loadout, the Diamatti is a reliable pistol.
