Upon arriving at the Checkpoint Rest Town you’ll soon hear about a missing boy named Rodge who may be in immediate danger. Since this is one of those time-sensitive quests, if you don’t act fast, you’ll end up failing it. How you can find Rodge for the Prey for the Pack quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is by following the blue flowers at night.

After picking this quest up, you’ll need to question the townsfolk for answers. You’ll only learn a few key details about his whereabouts, and one girl gives you the biggest hint. He was near the flowers that bloom at night last they heard, so head to the quest marker at night.

You may head to this spot and look around wondering where Rodge could be, I spent about 30 minutes struggling to find him. But I didn’t initially think about looking at night like the girl said, and if you do you can find a trail of these blue glowing petals heading east.

You’ll have to cross the bridge and then make your way past some hordes of wolves to make it to a cave entrance. If you’ve done this correctly without wasting time, Rodge should still be alive in the cave. But unfortunately for me, I struggled a lot with this quest so I ended up finding his scraps of clothes.

No matter the ending you get, you can now head back to the Checkpoint Rest Town to give Morris the good or bad news. Even though I failed this quest I still got a reward of 8,000 gold. But if you end up succeeding, Morris will grant you 11,000 gold instead and two Miracle Roborants.

There are many NPCs you may struggle to find in Dragon’s Dogma 2, whether they’re in danger or completely safe. Just like Rodge, I struggled to find Sven as well when he requested my presence.
