Approve of me!

Big Daddy Shaxx is letting you earn his approval, and to do that, you’ll have to grind out some serious kills with his chosen weapons. With Recluse Endangerment, we’re required to kill 50 guardians or rack up rapid kills with a submachine gun in Destiny 2. Here is how I got through it quickly.

How to get through Recluse Endangerment in Destiny 2 quickly

There are two ways to complete this mission: you can either get 50 Guardian kills with the weapons or many, many more rapid regular enemy kills. There are extra points awarded for getting regular kills during Onslaught, so that’s what we’re going to go for. With a cheese or two, you can quickly complete Recluse Endangerment in Destiny 2.

Use the right gun

The problem with some submachine guns is the tiny magazine. You need to get something that will be able to defeat enemies quickly, but also have enough bullets to move on to the next. A rapid kill has less than two seconds between it So, whether it is a fast reload or a big clip, you need to keep those bodies dropping.

I used The Huckleberry to rack up my rapid kills for the Recluse Endangerment quest. It has the bonus of reloading part of the magazine with each kill. Try to get something that can maintain sustained fire or has damage and reload boosts. I would look for weapons in your vault with a perk like Frenzy equipped, such as the IKELOS_SMG_v1.0.3.

Cheese the Onslaught enemies

Completing Recluse Engagement is all about racking up those Destiny 2 kills fast. Thralls are your friends in this case, and Onslaught has a ton of them. Focus your fire on hitting the weak spots on the Thralls as they charge you by the tens, and ignore the bigger enemies.

Try to focus all your fire on the Thralls when they spawn, keeping your kills quick and steady. Once you have cleared these out, you can actually start helping to defend the ADU. At any of the bosses that appear at every 10 levels, find the Thrall spawn points and essentially camp them. You will rack up those rapid kills in no time at all, especially with one of the weapons listed earlier.

Completing the Recluse Endagerment quest will net you 200 good boy points with Shaxx and get you ever closer to those glittering chests.
