The All-Stars Memento is a special customization item tied to the Guardian Games event. Mementos are unique as they bestow a shader, title, and tracker on the weapon you use them on. Another notable feature of Mementos is how you use them, as they can only be equipped to craftable weapons

If you’re unfamiliar with crafting, travel to the Enclave on Savathun’s Throne World to build a weapon. Head inside and use the Relic to craft a new gun or “reshape” one you already own. The Memento option is in the crafting menu, and you must increase the weapon’s level to 30 to equip the Shader. You’ll unlock the title at level 20 while the stat tracker is live by default.

You can spend resources in the Enclave to instantly level up your guns, but you can also use them on the field to level up naturally. Resources can be hard to come by, so I recommend the latter unless you’re in a hurry. The Memento is spent when you equip it, so pick your weapons wisely.

Guardians have a chance to earn the All-Stars Memento when cashing in Gold or Platinum Medallions, although Bungie hasn’t revealed the odds for these drops. Fortunately, you’re guaranteed to earn a Memento when you cash in a Diamond Medallion

You can earn Medallions by completing Contender Cards from Eva Levante at the Tower. Diamond Medallions greatly impact your class’s score during the event, so you can only obtain three per week.

Because these Diamond Medallions are so impactful, they are locked behind some pretty difficult content. For example, mine requires a Raid with every Guardian as the same class (pictured above).

Your first All-Stars Memento will go straight into your inventory, but Eva will hold onto any extras. It’s worth noting that when the Guardian Games Event ends on March 26, Eva will take any unclaimed Mementos, and they won’t go to the Post Master.

You can earn Diamond Medallions by completing end-game PvP and PvE activities. If you’re not ready for those tasks, you can still get a Medallion as a Twitch drop.
