How to get the Mags of Holding Schematic in Modern Warfare Zombies (MWZ)

Reloading is overrated.

Since Mags of Holdings allows you never to need to reload your weapon but instead constantly filter reserve ammo to you in Modern Warfare Zombies, it’s a Schematic you won’t regret grinding for. The path to the Mags of Holding Schematic in MWZ is long but worth it.

Modern Warfare Zombies (MWZ): How to unlock Mags of Holding Schematic

The only way to get the Mags of Holding Schematic in Modern Warfare Zombies is to complete Contracts in the Countermeasures Dark Aether Zone. This is the second Dark Aether Zone, the one on the hill in the northeast region of Urzikstan Tier 3.

The first thing you need to do to fully unlock the Countermeasures Dark Aether Zone is to complete the Countermeasures mission. Luckily, it’s not too challenging — I was able to complete it solo thanks to Jugger-nog and Quick Revive and two level two Pack-a-Punched weapons.

After the Countermeasures mission is complete and you’ve received the Rift Rewards at the end of the mission. You’ll get a gold Drum. You now need to complete the Drum easter egg wild goose chase. It involves getting the Perforated Target, Tattered MMA Gloves, and Pristine Mirror from the Countermeasures Dark Aether Zone and then turning them all to gold in Urzikstan.

Once that is done, place all four Relics on the pedestals at the second Dark Aether Gate in Urzikstan, defeat Pulse the Mimic for the Sigil, put the Sigil on the left side of the gate, and enter the Dark Aether Zone. That is how you fully unlock the Countermeasures Dark Aether Zone.

After entering the second Dark Aether Zone once, you now can enter whenever you want. Within the Dark Aether Zone, you’ll find three blue bunnies that serve as Contracts within the Dark Aether Zone. After completing a Contract here, you’ll have a chance to get the Mags of Holding Schematic. It all comes down to RNG, so you may need to try a few times.

After you get it, I recommend exfiling immediately to turn in the Schematic to permanently unlock the ability to bring Mags of Holding into the game. Alternatively, you can stay and try your luck at the Blood Burner Key Schematic.
